Pinellas County Utilities - Utilities Maintenance Specialist 3 -$33,342.40 - $51,688.00

This is skilled technical work involving specialized testing, maintenance, and repair of utilities systems equipment, lines, or devices. Employees in this class perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of utilities systems and devices. Duties may include supervising skilled and semi-skilled employees, and work is performed in accordance with established procedures, but requires initiative and independent judgment. The position reports to a division supervisor, unit supervisor or designee.

Minimum Qualification Requirements: High school graduate and 4 years of skilled utilities field experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience. Florida Commercial Driver's License "B". Possession and maintenance of a valid Level 3 Water Distribution System Operator License obtained in accordance with Florida Administrative Code, Chapter 62-602, Drinking Water and Domestic Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators. Candidate may be required to perform manual labor for extended periods occasionally in adverse weather conditions.
