Position Function:
Under the direction of the Wastewater Superintendent and/or Lead Operator, performs duties necessary to support the Wastewater Division to ensure the proper operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment systems and equipment within the appropriate Federal and State regulatory guidelines.

Wastewater Operator Trainee
$22,880 to 32,223 Annually (DOQ)

Position Function:
Under the direction of the Wastewater Superintendent and/or Lead Operator, performs duties necessary to support the Wastewater Division to ensure the proper operation the wastewater treatment systems and equipment. Position is classified as an Operator in Training and is responsible to accomplish licensure requirements commensurate with position within 12 - 18 months of hire.
