City of Clearwater - Public Utilities Department - Industrial Pretreatment Coordinator

Seeking professional individuals with technical, administrative & supervisory work of a responsible nature involving all phases of industrial pretreatment programs. Work developing & coordinating operations, maintenance, and safety for the City's Industrial Pretreatment Program (IPP) and programs designed to protect the Wastewater Collection System, Treatment Facilities and reclaimed water. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, environmental, engineering, or related field; supplemented by 4 years of professional level experience in wastewater/laboratory management, IPP operations, environmental, or a logically related field and 2 years of supervisory experience in laboratory, environmental, or wastewater management operations. State of Florida Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators Certificate or a Florida Industrial Pretreatment Association (FIPA) Industrial Pretreatment Level Certification preferred or the ability to obtain as required within two (2) years of employment.
