Public Utilities Assistant Director – Operations

Salary: $117,137 – $128,850 DOQ
The City of Clearwater seeks an experienced utility leader to provide executive leadership for day-to-day water, wastewater, reclaimed water, treatment, distribution, collection, safety, emergency readiness, and operational performance. Position reports to the Public Utilities Director and is part of the department’s executive leadership team.
Requires bachelor’s degree in a related field, five years of responsible utility-related experience, including two years of supervisory/managerial experience, valid driver’s license, and Florida DEP Water A, Wastewater A, Water Distribution 1, or highest equivalent out-of-state license. Utility asset management, SCADA, and large-scale operations leadership experience preferred.
